Research and Development

The ZF R&D Center in Timisoara stands at the forefront of cutting-edge automotive research and innovation, playing a pivotal role in the evolution of global mobility solutions. Our center spearheads significant projects for leading automotive OEMs, focusing on the development of sophisticated Chassis Solutions and E-Mobility systems. Adhering to A-SPICE and Safety standards, our dedicated teams encompass the entire development spectrum—from system design to system validation. This includes project management, quality assurance, and tooling infrastructure, all aimed at delivering state-of-the-art brake controls and electric motor products.

Manufacturing

Our company proudly supplies products to over 40 automobile manufacturers worldwide. Specializing in advanced safety systems, ZF is at the forefront of automotive safety, providing essential components such as braking systems, steering mechanisms, suspensions, and passenger protection systems including airbags and seatbelts. We are committed to excellence across various fields, offering roles in Engineering, Quality Assurance, Production, Maintenance, and Continuous Improvement.

The IT Production Department plays a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solutions across all ZF locations. We are committed to supporting and utilizing a suite of solutions including ITAC, SDP, Automation+, MICS, and CAA, ensuring seamless manufacturing processes and continuous improvement in our operations.

In collaboration with the Politehnica University of Timisoara, we present the ZF Academy, which opens applications twice a year. Opportunities are advertised on the university job board and at job fairs. Additionally, our involvement in the "AC Labs" project allows students to apply their theoretical knowledge in practical settings, enhancing their learning experience.
