As part of the ZF Group, the company provides services of:

Offices dedicated to projects specific to active safety located in Timișoara, Republicii no. 9, et. 1-4, has an ultra-modern infrastructure, a set of high-speed servers and a laboratory with equipment that ensures the performance of tests and the effectiveness of the systems on which the software is installed.

In 2021, within the company BeeSpeed ​​Technical Engineering Center, the new ZF concept is created and the new configuration of the ZF R&D Tech Engineering Center takes shape, which consolidates its existence within the group by expanding competences in the area of ​​research and development with a preponderance in the field of electric mobility.

The new location dedicated to research and development projects in Timișoara, Piața Consiliul Europei, no. 2C, UBC 3, et. 7-8, is an important center in the global research network of new products, technologies and e-mobility solutions.

Therefore, ZF R&D Tech Engineering Center provides support for projects shaping the future generation of global mobility, in the following areas of expertise:

The factory produces steering wheels and airbag modules for automobiles, focusing on quality and customer satisfaction, using innovative and efficient technologies to optimize production processes.

Timișoara Plant has three satellite factories supplementing its production capacity, responsible for the technological processes: pre-sewing and covering the steering wheels in leather.

The three factory’s satellites are:

• TRW Automotive Safety Systems - Oravița (active since 2007);
• TRW Automotive Safety Systems - Lupeni (active since 2008);
• TRW Automotive Safety Systems - Marghita (active since 2011).

The location has modern infrastructure equipped with state-of-the-art technology, requires the realization of airbag bags in conditions of maximum safety for the final product and offers work opportunities in many areas of the care industries, as well as safety and stability for all its employees.

ZF Roman is the largest employer in Neamț County and is actively involved in community life through dozens of social and educational projects.
