Hypoid Bevel Gear

The Skytrain is an automatically controlled, driverless large-cabin suspension railway. The reliable, weight and noise optimized transmissions from ZF ensure energy-efficient, viable and environmentally friendly passenger transport. Every vehicle is equipped with six bogies, each featuring two transmission units from ZF. Every transmission is connected to a motor via a coupling. ZF‘s Hypoid Bevel Gear was designed to meet transportation requirements in Guizhou Province, China.
