AxTrax 2 is a next-generation electric axle designed to replace engine, transmission, and conventional axle to electrify a commercial vehicle. ZF’s modular platform approach integrates in-house developed components into an innovative axle-based one-box solution with compact size and light weight, and a packaging fitting into the space of the conventional axle, while providing high power and torque, at enhanced efficiency.
