Modular Drive System for Off-road Vehicles

The CeTrax electric central drive can be integrated simply into vehicle designs with a conventional driveline layout and is suitable for a variety of special vehicles such as terminal tractors, light crane vehicles or municipal vehicles. The ZF system with inverter and electronic control unit with proprietary ZF software provides vehicle manufacturers with a system package that is designed for cost-effectiveness and efficiency.

CeTrax 2 dual is designed to seamlessly package within the space of the transmission of an ICE vehicle enabling OEM customers to offer ICE and electric drivelines in a single vehicle platform. The system integrates modular and in-house developed components which results in an innovative one-box solution enabling compact size and light weight and provides high power and torque with enhanced efficiency.

With EcoLife Offroad 2, ZF offers a transmission system in the medium to heavy duty vehicles segment such as fire trucks, ladder cars, dumpers, or municipal and waste vehicles. The seven-speed automatic transmission delivers robust power transfer under the toughest conditions – also off-road. With numerous optimizations, the second transmission generation ensures better performance at reduced costs. The permissible input torque could be increased to 3,000 Nm.

TraXon 2 is the universal automated transmission system designed to meet the diverse requirements of medium to heavy-duty mobile cranes, special-purpose vehicles, and armored wheeled vehicles. With a modular architecture – consisting of a robust basic transmission and optional add-on modules – TraXon 2 offers OEMs a flexible and future-ready driveline solution.

Once again ZF proves its reputation for being a true driveline specialist for all-wheel drive commercial vehicles. The new TC 27 is designed for demanding all-wheel drive applications. In the new product, ZF unites decades of experience with new benchmarks in efficiency and reliability.
