Short Range Object Detection
Advanced radar sensing technology designed to reduce collisions in the near field of the vehicle
Key Facts
What can Short Range Object Detection provide?
The latest generation of ZF’s radar sensors has built-in functions for monitoring the near field of the vehicle. The system can warn the driver of other vehicles and Vulnerable Road Users (VRUs) within its vicinity, including in blind spots. It is designed to comply with GSR UN ECE 159 MOIS (Moving-off Information System) and UN ECE 151 BSIS (Blind Spot Information System) requirements for front and side VRU detection.
