EcoShift replaces conventional 6-speed bus transmissions in the torque ranges between 1 000 and 2 100 newton meters. With optional extension modules, such as the new ZF-Intarder for more safety or an additional cooling system for especially demanding operating conditions, transmissions can be tailor-made for each application specification. Compared to previous manual transmissions, EcoShift boasts increased efficiency and operating comfort.The pressure oil lubrication with flat oil sump reduces gear resistance. The simple, smooth, and precise shifting provides for relaxed driving. Passengers and the environment profit in equal measure from the reduced noise emissions.As the first manual transmission series for buses and coaches, the EcoShift transmission family can be universally equipped with the Servoshift shift support system.
