Besides the active steering model, the passive steering version of the RL 75 A is also available as a tag axle for longer buses. It is fitted with steering dampers and pneumatic locking cylinders. As an alternative, the RL 82 EC independent front suspension can also be used as a tag axle.
The wheel heads on the tag axles are identical to the wheel heads on both front axles. In addition, chassis integration is easy as both front axles have identical installation dimensions.
