What can Aftermarket Programming provide?
The WABCO Aftermarket Programming application enables quicker configuration of replacement Electronic Control Units (ECUs) for WABCO tractor/truck Anti-Lock Braking Systems (ABS) and the OnLaneALERT® Lane Departure Warning camera. WABCO programmable ECUs are applicable for a wide range of vehicles and help reduce downtime and costs. When used with the WABCO Bench Programming Unit, users can program ECUs on the bench versus directly on the vehicle.

Requirements for Aftermarket Programming
Before ordering a programmable ECU, ensure you meet the following requirements:
- Access to the vehicle or WABCO Bench Programming Unit if programming on the bench
- WABCO TOOLBOX PLUS™ diagnostics software, available for purchase here
- A J1939 diagnostic adapter, available for purchase through your preferred parts distributor
- The correct programmable ECU base unit - please use the below Aftermarket Programming ECU Cross Reference to determine the correct unit or contact the WABCO Customer Care Center at 855-228-3203 for ordering support
