ZF 8-speed PowerLine Transmission Launches on Freightliner
ZF announced its advanced PowerLine 8-speed automatic transmission on the Freightliner M2 106 Plus with the all-new Cummins B6.7 Octane engine from Daimler Truck North America (DTNA). The Freightliner M2 106 Plus and ZF PowerLine was on display at Work Truck Week 2026 in Indianapolis, March 10-13, and is available to order beginning March 13.

ZF and Kodiak Partner on Steering for Driverless Trucks
Kodiak, a leading provider of AI-powered autonomous vehicle technology, announced it has expanded its long-standing partnership with ZF. This expanded partnership includes the purchase of 100 steering systems with redundant components, enabling Kodiak to grow its trucking business. Kodiak began integrating these redundant steering components into Kodiak Driver-equipped trucks earlier in 2025.
