Precious Cargo

The VCU Pro Onboard Unit acts as a data converter for intelligent condition monitoring for marine propulsion systems. As a standard integrated into all 360° controlled thrusters, the VCU Pro functions as a secure gateway and collects the measurement data supplied via sensors on the condition of essential driveline components. The sensors measure vibrations, the condition of the bearings or the oil, and the irregularities of the rotating propeller. With the recorded and safely transmitted data, maintenance can be planned predictively and thus reduce or avoid downtimes.

Rail Vehicles
