What can Lane Change Assist provide?

ZF’s Level 2 Lane Change Assist is capable of driver initiated and system-initiated lane changes. It monitors traffic in adjacent lanes before and during the lane change, identifying and approaching safe gaps. The system relies on 360° surveillance using advanced sensor technology. Even complex road topologies can be driven smoothly with the assistance of HD maps. Additionally, the function can bring the vehicle to a safe stop on the hard shoulder when needed.
