Frequency Sensitive Control (FSC)
The frequency determines the damping
Key Facts
What can Frequency Sensitive Control (FSC) provide?
The centerpiece of FSC is a frequency-dependent valve module which divides the damping force characteristic curve in the rebound direction into high- and low-frequency damping forces. When low-frequency excitations occur, stabilizing, high damping forces are generated for greater driving safety. When high-frequency vibrations occur, the FSC operates at a low damping force level for greater ride comfort.

Advantages
- Economical on the basis of conventional damping technology
- Optimum road contact, greater comfort with no loss in safety
- Improved insulation of vehicle body against high frequency road based excitation
- Compensates for loss in comfort for run-flat and low-profile tires
- Compensates for loss of agility for soft and SUV tires
- Improvement of both: handling stability and ride comfort of the vehicle
