What can Electrically Powered Steering – Dual Pinion provide?
Dual Pinion EPS systems by ZF offer a low cost rack-drive power steering solution up to 15 kN rack force for vehicles with medium front axle weights. They are highly package compatible with Belt Drive EPS systems. CO2 reduction is provided by minimized energy consumption in operation. DP-EPS is also suitable for vehicles with electric or hybrid drive. Driver assist functions for improved safety and autonomous driving features are enabled by optional highly fault tolerant variants of the system.
