What can Electrically Powered Steering – Belt Drive provide?

Belt Drive EPS systems by ZF offer rack-drive power steering solution up to 21 kN rack force to support vehicles even with high front axle weights. They are highly flexible with regards to the packaging. CO2 reduction is provided by minimized energy consumption in operation. BD-EPS is also suitable for vehicles with electric or hybrid drive. Driver assist functions for improved safety and autonomous driving features are enabled by optional highly fault tolerant variants of the system
