Secondary school students have the opportunity to enroll in the Dual Education System, which, in addition to financial and non-financial benefits, ensures their participation in regular practical training in modern workshops at the Dual Education Center directly inside the plant. The Center is equipped with state-of-the-art CNC milling machines, lathes, 3D-printer, handling robots and teaching tools for pneumatics, hydraulics and PLC programming. Students can work in Production, learn about the plant environment, company culture, and the quality and safety requirements for the workplace in a modern engineering plant environment.ZF cooperates on practical training with secondary schools outside of Dual Education.

In cooperation with secondary and higher education institutions, we organize professional lectures and excursions to factories for students.For secondary school students we provide practical training in Production facilities.

For students of STEM and Economics universities and faculties, we offer bachelor and diploma thesis opportunities every academic year in Trnava and Levice. The students participates in the finalization of the thesis directly within the company, under the guidance of their supervisor from the specific faculty. The thesis topics are proposed by members of ZF management and, after approval by the management of the respective universities and faculties, are assigned to specific students following a personal interview with the applicant.Internships are another possibility for cooperation. Students can gain valuable practical experience and test their knowledge in the real environment of a manufacturing company through paid internships during the summer months. The internships usually lasts four months: from June to September. During this time, students are assigned to a project that forms the core of the internship. Each trainee has a mentor who monitors their performance and helps them in solving the given problem. The internships are mostly for students in STEM, Economics and Logistics study programs.

We offer university students an opportunity to cooperate in preparing bachelor and diploma thesis projects. We offer professional consultations, and important data and information from practice, necessary for completing the thesis. If the topic of your thesis is related to the subject of our company's activity and solves a specific problem, do not hesitate to contact us.

Talent Pool is a program designed for university graduates. The program lasts from 6 to 12 months, and gives promising graduates an opportunity to work on real projects and tasks in their field of specialization. Thanks to the Talent Pool, they will gain unique experience in the automotive industry environment. Upon successful completion of the project, graduates can get a permanent job placement with our company.

In cooperation with universities, we organize a series of practical lectures and school excursions to plants for students. For students of technical and engineering universities, ZF has prepared a series of lectures by managers and senior employees of the company, called ZF University. They usually last for one semester. Student participation is voluntary. At the lectures, they learn about managing a manufacturing company, and gain practical experience in Logistics, Controlling, Quality Processes, HR and Development. This professionally oriented Bachelor’s is a study program cooperation between ZF and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Slovak Technical University in Bratislava. In this program, our company allows students to gain theoretical knowledge, as well as practical experience in the fields of Design, Development, Construction and Production of a new product. Students work in the form of internships and year-long practical training directly under the guidance of top experts during the entire study program. The cooperation with our company also concerns the topic selection, and subsequent assistance in writing a bachelor thesis. Upon completion of this study program, graduates are guaranteed a position in a company they already know.
