Consultant and Engineering Expertise

Our expertise in new product development and applications engineering is supported by its state-of-the-art product validation facilities in Solihull, UK (previously known as Conekt). With external ISO 17025 accreditation by UKAS, we are highly experienced in the areas of Environmental Testing, EMC Testing, Instrumentation, Prototyping and Advanced Test.

Our full testing, reliability and validation capabilities document is available or contact us to discuss your specific requirements. In addition to our certifications, UKAS accredited testing laboratory No. 0332, we also provide a range of testing support services. Our experienced test equipment design engineers are available to support UKAS and non-UKAS testing performed on or offsite.

Environmental Testing

Our expertise in environmental testing allows us to simulate conditions that will provide detailed knowledge on how the product will operate and survive in its final environment. We test and validate the performance of components, assemblies and systems under a range of environmental conditions experienced by products from a range of industries including aerospace, automotive, defence and rail. Our environmental testing capabilities include;
  • Climatics testing
  • Vibration testing
  • Ingress protection (dust, water)

EMC Testing

A whole suite of EMC tests can be performed on one site, including radiated EMC testing in semi-anechoic chambers and conducted EMC and transient testing in specially screened rooms. With our wealth of experience of EMC testing in various sectors including automotive, aerospace and defence, our internationally accredited EMC laboratories in the UK allow us to test products ranging from the smallest component to large systems.

Instrumentation and Prototyping

We provide full instrumentation solutions to measure and collect data under real-world conditions. Operating across a range of different industries, we specialise in challenging measurements and hostile environment. Our workshops are equipped with extensive machining facilities including Milling and Turning machines with CNC capability, drilling, surface grinding, spark eroding, welding, brazing and vehicle fitment to enable all modifications to be carried out in house. Common metallic and non-metallic materials are held in stock, enabling parts to be produced very quickly when required.
