EMC Engineering Expertise
Our current UKAS schedule of accreditation contains details of all our accredited EMC services. As members of the EMC Test Labs Association (EMCTLA) and the European Organisation for Civil Aviation Equipment (EUROCAE) and participants of the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) EMC Standards Sub-Committee (SSC), we are able to maintain our high level of expertise within EMC testing. Our Facilities
- Radiated emissions and immunity testing up to 18 GHz
- Radiated immunity testing in excess of 3,000 V/m
- Radiated emissions utilising FFT receivers
- Indirect lightning testing to RTCA/DO-160 (EUROCAE ED-14) level five
- Five semi-anechoic chambers, maximum size 9.0m x 5.5m x 6.0m
- Screened rooms with large entrance doors (up to 4 m x 3.5 m)
- Screened room linked to 250 Hp drive / dynamometer for EMC testing of large motors and generators e.g. EV drive systems, aircraft generators
- Mobile test-bench ground planes for complex EUT layouts
- Two environmentally controlled electrical / transient test rooms
