What can 4-Point Link - Study using CRP provide?

The ZF 4-point link combines three chassis tasks in a single component: not only longitudinal and transversal axle guidance, but also roll stabilization. A concept study in which ZF uses carbon-fiber reinforced plastic (CRP) instead of casting promotes both function integration and lightweight construction. The weight is reduced by approximately 50 percent or about 24 kilograms.
