Especially on test benches where the mechanics make up a large part of the acquisition costs, retrofit is often the more economical way in comparison to a new investment.
On the one hand, a new control and measuring technology can guarantee the availability of the system and on the other hand reduce maintenance costs, which are constantly increasing over the years. By using standard components and software, the operation and maintenance of the machine is significantly simplified for the personnel and process sequences can be further optimized. Above all, the integration of third-party products leads to a simplification of newly required software updates (measuring functions), since a direct contact person is now available for this. In addition to increasing cost-effectiveness, new safety standards can also be implemented, thus ensuring greater safety when working with the test benches.
Retrofit is not only possible for ZF test benches; our experts can also modernize third-party systems.
In principle, both end-of-line test stands and R&D test stands can be retrofitted.
