These clutches are adapted to the specific needs of our customers. Based on customer requirements, a broad construction kit is available to lead our customers to success in motorsport. The choice of materials is adapted to the requirements and the components are optimised in terms of strength and weight. Designed for high-end applications, they feature remarkably low mass and an astonishingly favourable moment of inertia. This makes them an excellent feature in your driveline in terms of acceleration and elasticity.
Carbon Discs
Carbon is the high-tech material from Formula 1. It is very temperature resistant and very light. This friction material is often used under very severe conditions and provides the possibility of compact lightweight clutches.
Advantages:
- Very light, extremely temperature resistant
- good startline behavior
- no flywheel wear
- high durability
- low mass and inertia
Sinter Discs
Sinter, due to its very light driven plates, is often used in applications such as circuit/track racing, formula series vehicles, and touring vehicles.
Advantages:
- Light, high temperature resistance
- small clutch height
- low mass and inertia
Organic Discs
Organic is a soft friction lining and therefore gearbox protective but not very temperature resistant. This type of material is not used in extreme race conditions.
Advantages:
- Easy on the transmission
- soft clutch engagement,
- low wear on the flywheel friction surface
