What can Anti-Stall Clutch provide?

Anti-stall clutches are dry-running multidisc clutches with engine-speed dependent contact pressure application and an optional release via a push-type clutch release mechanism. In combination with an adjustable speed limiter that can be activated via the start button, the transferred torque can be gradually set for a race start.

Details

Made for standing starts

The anti-stall clutch was especially developed for race series with standing start to make the clutch engagement process easy. The clutch pedal does not necessarily have to be actuated when starting. Depending on the application, it is not needed at all. The torque during slip time can be controlled via the accelerator pedal. With constantly pressed accelerator pedal, the transferred torque and the engine speed are very stable, and enable the pilot to make a perfect race start. The highest performance advantage is achieved with poor grip conditions.

The different designs

The anti-stall clutch is available with a nominal diameter of 140mm in twin or triple sintered disc versions up to a torque of 750 Nm at max.
The maximum speed is limited to 11 000 rpm.
