CDC provides the motorcycle with a considerable plus in ride safety, comfort, and dynamics, while individually adjusting the damping force to deliver the best results. A control unit calculates the necessary damping force within milliseconds, and sets this force just as quickly on the damper. Sensors on the motorcycle record characteristic values such as body or wheel acceleration, from which the ideal damping values are derived.
More efficient damping characteristics for all scenarios and routes
Improved road contact of wheels
Better compensation characteristics on poor road surfaces
Improved stability when braking, accelerating, and cornering
More flexibility for different loading conditions
Reduced movement of front fork system when braking (supports OEM anti-dive system)
Interacts with other electronic assistance systems (e.g. ABS, TC)
