What can TraXon 2 Hybrid provide?

ZF’s TraXon 2 Hybrid is an advanced automated manual transmission for plug-in and full hybrid commercial vehicles in long-haul applications. It offers cost-effective electrification of the drivetrain and a smoother transition to environmentally friendly transportation. Based on the proven TraXon 2 design, the hybrid solution reduces total cost of ownership (TCO) and CO2 emissions.

  • Includes an oil cooled permanent magnet synchronous hairpin electric motor designed to deliver up to 190 kW continuous power (UN ESE R85)

  • Features integrated hybrid control for smooth operation between conventional and electric drive

  • Operated by an independent 600-800 V silicon carbide (SiC) inverter, designed to ensure optimal e-powertrain efficiency (HV3 and HV3+)

  • Offers optional integration of ZF-Intarder and various PTO options to enhance functionality
