Improved ride comfort with ZF independent suspensions
With the RL 55 EC, ZF independent suspensions are now also available in the midibus. The high level of steering angle significantly reduces the turning circle in comparison to rigid beam axles. The combination of outstanding roll stiffness, high steering precision and optimum load distribution increases the driving comfort, particularly ride and steering comfort and thus the active safety.
A further advantage is the high axle load. The reduction of the unsprung masses lowers vibrations and causes less wear and tear on the roads.
The midibus independent suspension comes standard with modern, ventilated disk brake technology.
