TailGUARD
Intelligent Trailer Safety Feature
- A rear blind spot detection system with active braking; now available for a wide range of applications. Active braking is enabled when paired with our Roll Stability Support on trailers.
- Monitors stationary and moving objects behind the tractor and trailer to activate vehicle brakes and prevent collision
- Activated when reversing, sensors monitor approximately 6 feet behind the vehicle and trigger trailer brakes automatically if the brake is not applied at 2 feet from the object
- Protects equipment and facilities, improves rearward visibility and reduces risk for unintended collisions
