We wish to inform you about the critical aspects of transparency concerning the processing of personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679/EU (GDPR) adopted by the European Union on April 14th, 2016. The GDPR was designed to harmonize data privacy laws across Europe and has been directly applicable in all EU Member States since May 25th, 2018, effectively replacing the Data Protection Directive.
As part of our contractual relationship, you have engaged ZF (Transics) to process personal data through its Fleet Management System.
In the pursuit of delivering enhanced services on the SCALAR platform, we have made certain adaptations to our subprocessor list. Should you have any objections or concerns regarding our current list, we kindly request that you communicate them to us within the next month.
For our direct end-customers, we use a standard Data Processing Agreement (DPA) for handling the personal data we process under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The DPA's version we have in place applies if your legal entity hasn't signed a separate DPA with ZF.
In this way, ZF is fulfilling its legal obligation of maintaining complete transparency as a processor regarding the handling of your personal data. If you have any questions or need more information, please feel free to contact us at cevinpl.pipfqpf@MS.pbz .
Kind regards,
The GDPR team
