Station 1: Truck Parking Area

The parking place has a paved size of 12.000 m².

Illuminated and equipped with outlet sockets for electric and pressed air. WLAN is available everywhere.

Station 2: Car Parking Area

The car parking area has a capacity for 70 cars including 8 charger places for electric cars.

Station 3: Project Center

This building includes the security office and the check in for employees and guests. The ground floor is equipped with a lunch room for 60 people and an outside terrace.

A big, divisible meeting / cinema room for up to 99 people, 3 smaller meeting rooms and 4 offices are located in the upper floor.

Directly connected to this building is a workshop with a size of more than 350 m², two modern working pits and a brake roller test bench.

Next to the workshop is an open hall with a Diesel station, 10 ton - crane and a washing area. Electric power up to 400 V and pressed air is available everywhere.

Station 4: Storage and Loading Area

The area includes a loading ramp up to 8 ton and +/- 50 cm height adjustment.

The ramp approach has a slope of 8% and on top a free usable area of 50 m². The storage area is completed by a 1000 m² storage hall including 250 m² canopy.

A crane hall with a 6 ton crane for loading and unloading of the test vehicles is also available.

Station 5: Stability control area

This oval has a length of 2 km and is surrounding by two steeps curves with the following parameter:

  • Inner radius 124 m (at 27° tilt)
  • Tilt: at base line 2,5 %, at upper line 104 % (46.8°)
  • Maximum speed with neutral steering 90 km/h, at 27° tilt

This oval includes a sprinklered brake test area with the following parameter:

  • Steel lane, 4 x 180 m, µ 0,1 (under wet condition) | Concrete lane, 5 x 230 m (100 m without puts, µ 0,6 under wet condition)
  • Bluebasalt lane (yearly certificated), 7 x 350 m, µ 0,25 (under wet condition) | Asphalt lane, 6 x 210 m, µ 0,65 (under wet condition)
  • Asphalt dry, 5 x 125 m | Free shape area, 4 x 11 m | Steel plate for µ jump test, 4 x 3 m
Station 6: Circle

The circle has partly a sprinkler system and the following parameter

  • Bluebasalt lane, 10 x 150 m, inner radius 100 m, (sprinkler system)
  • Bluebasalt lane, 5 x 100 m, inner radius 105 m, (sprinkler system)
  • All other areas dry asphalt
Station 7: Hill

The hill has a sprinkler system, different road conditions and slopes:

  • Steel lane, 4 x 40 m, 3 % slope
  • Bluebasalt lane, 4 x 40 m, 7 % slope
  • Bluebasalt lane, 4 x 50 m, 5 % slope
  • Steel lane, 4 x 30 m, 5 % slope
  • Bluebasalt lane, 4 x 40m, 12 % slope
  • Asphalt lanes in side areas, slope 3, 5, 7 and 12 %
Station 8: Oval opposite lane and special areas

It is part of the 2 km oval with the following parameters:

  • „Good highway“, 6x 465 m, concrete
  • „Bad road“, 4 x 250 m, special uneven road profile
  • Sinus wave road, 4 x 60 m, wave length 1 m, amplitude 100 mm
  • EU-threshold, width 4 m
  • Ground wave, width 4 m, length 3 m, height 100 mm
  • Rectangle threshold, width 4 m, length 0.5 m, height 80 mm
Station 9: Dynamic Area
  • Radius 110 m, Diameter 220 m, size more than 56.000 m². Highest point in the middle with 1% tilt to the side.
  • The access road has a minimal width of 40 m and a length of about 130 m
  • Marked with a lot of ISO standard test maneuvers like lane changes, J-Turns, circles a.s.o.
  • The side area of the Dynamic Area includes the exit road from the inner test areas
Station 10: Highway Oval South Curve

Total road width 15 m with a tilt of 6 %. Left lane as access road to the 2 km Oval, Circle, Hill and Dynamic Area.

Station 11: Highway Oval North Curve

Total Road width 7,5 m with a tilt of 6 %.

Right lane as exit road to the Truck Parking Area and all other side areas.

Station 12: Highway Oval oncoming lane - Test Field East

Overall length of 800 m with 5 marked Highway lines plus emergency lane and a total width of 23,5 m.

This lane has nearly no slope and a tilt of 2,5 % (2/3 to the right, with „roof ridge“ for lateral force free driving).

A side backroad for independently use of „Test Field East„ planned.
