ZF Trainees, February 06, 2017
ZF Trainees are a group of young people taking part in the ZF Global Trainee Program. In the #traineeblog they give insights about the life as a ZF Trainee.
Welcome to new batch personal introductions! I’ll start this tag and within the next 9 weeks you’ll get to know each participant from our (big!) ZF Trainnee blogging team. With such multicultural backgrounds, I’m sure we’ll fill the blog with lot of good stories.

First things first: My name is Debora, I am an industrial engineer from Brazil. As teenager, I used to dream working in fashion (actually I’m a graduated graphic designer). But destiny played with me and made me realize that I should keep the fashion in my wardrobe. I found myself happier in the automotive field and have worked in product development, consulting and technical sales before entering the ZF Trainee Program. A passion for innovative markets, smart factory, new mobility and big data subjects are also part of the mix.
Then my first project fulfilled these expectations perfectly: I worked for 4 months at ZF Race Engineering in Schweinfurt and researched possibilities of Industry 4.0 applications to the assembly process. I left the friendly department in the end of January with a plan for the next steps for implementation.
That’s great being able to see available technology ready to be applied. Being part of ZF Trainee Program has been a mix of learning and adventure: there’re tons to learn about the industry and business and also lots of personal development, in which we rely on new friends and have fun worldwide.
