For almost 25 years, the ZF Art Foundation has been supporting artists, musicians, festivals, and nonprofit institutions and contributes like this actively to a more vivid cultural life in the Lake Constance region.
As part of the commitment, scholarships are granted to fine artists from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland who can live and work in the tower of the Zeppelin museum for nine months. Every two years, the foundation organizes the ZF Music Award during which young pianists from all over the world compete.
Not only at the headquarters in Friedrichshafen, the support of art and culture is part of ZF's agenda, but also at the Passau location. Every year, money is granted to the association "Festspiele Europäische Wochen", a festival with classical concerts and lectures; furthermore, the festival Young Classic Europe is supported. The cultural foundation, that has been located in Passau since 1989, is also supporting the Museum of Modern Arts and the municipal concert hall.
At the ZF locations Bayreuth and Auerbach, ZF also subsidizes the cultural diversity. And at the Schweinfurt location, ZF is regularly organizing traveling exhibitions of regional, contemporary artists. In this city in Lower Franconia, also museums and theaters get financial support.
