Scholarship@ZF

In addition to financial support, ZFs scholarship program assists bachelor's and master's students in obtaining technical know-how and establishing a network.

Studying without any worries

Study vigorously and think about your future career at the same time: With the scholarship program for (current or previous) ZF interns, you will already be boosting your career during your studies. Students in technical and business fields relevant to the company receive both financial and professional support. Networking and mentoring are important components of the program. Scholarship holders also receive preferential treatment for internships and summer jobs.

The Scholarship Program
Contents

Students within the scholarship program will receive financial aid as well as personal and professional development trainings. The scholarship holders visit various ZF plants to become familiar with the locations, divisions, and products. The theoretical content of a degree program can thus be tested and applied in a practical manner.

Regular networking events with ZF representatives, as well as being supported by a mentor, are significant parts of the program.

Support period

Support for bachelor's students can be provided at the earliest from the 3rd semester; for master's students, during the entire course of study. Support is generally limited to two years per degree and cannot be claimed beyond the end of the regular period of study.

Prerequisites

The scholarship program is directed toward current or previous interns at ZF Friedrichshafen AG who are not currently supported by other institutions. The ideal candidate will be enrolled in a technical or business-related bachelor's or master's degree program for at least another two semesters. Relevant degree programs include electrical engineering, information technology, automotive engineering, industrial engineering, industrial engineering&management as well as economics.
