Design Engineer (CREO) in the field of gearbox development in Aviation Industry (m/f)

ZF Lufttfahrttechnik GmbH is a worldwide dedicated enterprise for development, manufacturing, maintenance, repair and overhaul of transmission applications in the helicopter segments of gearboxes, engines, and actuators for aerospace applications as well as test stands for the aviation industry. 


We are in need of creative Employees with a hands-on attitude that will be working in Development center in Pilsen (Czech Republic) and they will cooperate in projects for aviation industry.

Responsibilities:


  • Design of assemblies and parts for aeronautical gearboxes including layout of all relevant parts with the main focus on housing components made from steel castings

  • Finite Element calculation for the design using CREO Simulate

  • Creation of all relevant 2d and 3d data using CREO

  • Creation of complete drawing sets for manufacturing, component and assembly drawings, assembly instructions…

  • Administration of all drawings in the PDM-system

  • Design support for production and quality assurance

  • Communication with native and foreign customers for design

  • Support and harmonization of technical problem solutions with national and international customers and suppliers as well as the relevant internal departments

Requirements:


  • Successful completion of a University degree in mechanical engineering in the areas of drive train and transmission engineering

  • Profound knowledge in the operation of the CAD  program CREO

  • Several of experience in the area of transmission design, or several years of experience in the area of castings

  • Good MS-Office software knowledge

  • Profound knowledge of the English language, taking initiatives, able to work in teams, able to communicate well
