In 2015, ZF group reinforced it's commitment of expanding in a growth region by setting up a multi-product facility in one of the key automotive hubs of India- Chakan,Pune. Since then, this facility,which is also the regional headquarter for ZF Group in India has grown multifold.
The facility spread of over 85,0000 sqmtrs houses ZF Group's Commercial Vehicle,Car Powertrain and Aftermarket businesses. The synergies from working under one roof enable improved efficiency and compelling value proposition to our customers. A strong design and application engineering team collaborates closely with customers to ensure market oriented technologies are offered to OEMs. The materials management team in this facility supports the global purchasing objectives of the ZF group.
The ZF Group inaugurated its new ZF India Technology Center (ITC) in Hyderabad on March 2,2017,thus ushering in an era of change at ZF. Currently, ZF has more than 1,000 engineers working on development projects from India through its service partners and employees. In the last one year, it has successfully added more than 600 talented engineers to its workforce at ITC. The center will employ 2,500 engineers by 2020.
ZF’s first technology center in India is an essential building block of the company’s digitalization strategy. Deeply integrated with the 19 main development centers of ZF worldwide, the India technology center plays a critical support role in the area of electronics, embedded software and mechanical engineering.
