Organization

In Czech Republic ZF is represented in a total of eight locations, namely in Benesov, Frydlant, Jablonec, Klasterec, Pilsen, Repov, Stankov and Stara Boleslav. The enterprise occupies there about 3,400 employees. Last year ZF has achieved a turnover of more than 230 million euros in Czechia.

ZF Electronics Klášterec

ZF Electronics Klášterec was founded in 1992. Today, 300 employees work for the company in Klášterec at a production area of over 4,500 square meters and produce e.g. electronic components for automotive products as well as switches for industrial solutions and key modules for computer input devices.

ZF Stankov

ZF Stankov was founded in 2008; the factory building was finished in 2009 and has already been extended in 2014. Meanwhile, the production area covers 13,000 square meters. The plant produces axles and transmissions for construction machinery and fork lifts. With almost 180 people working in this plant and a yearly turnover of about 110 million Euros, over 300 different parts lists are produced for several well-known customers. ZF Stankov is holder of certificates ISO 9001:2009 and ISO 14001:2005. All important procedures and processes are carried out according to the ZF philosophies in order to deliver the products on time and in best quality.

ZF Engineering Plzeň

ZF Engineering Plzeň is one of the eight major development sites of ZF Friedrichshafen AG. In July 2007, the former independent competence center was integrated in the ZF Group; today, 150 employees work for the company in Plzeň. They offer development and test services to external customers as well as project originators from the ZF Group. The complete development chain - from design via prototyping to testing - is available at ZF Engineering. Automated test and assembly devices can also be realized in-house.

ZF Services

ZF Services has been active in the Czech Republic since 1996. Today, the independent business unit of the ZF Friedrichshafen AG operates an office in the Czech Republic. The marketing office in Prague gives support to the aftermarket customers in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. This subsidizes the wholesale distribution of the product brands SACHS, LEMFÖRDER, TRW and BOGE. The office in Prague is mainly responsible for the pricing in the parts market as well as for marketing and sales campaigns. Technical training sessions and processing of warranty cases are also handled directly on-site.

Openmatics

The Openmatics s.r.o offers an open platform with the same name for technically-innovative telematics applications. The company was founded in October 2011. Today, 27 employees work on App development at the Plzeň location.
