ZF registered positive developments in the region of South America. Already in 1958, the company founded its first location abroad, in Brazil. Since then, ZF has gained a large market share. ZF holds position one or two in the respective market segments in driveline technology. In South America, sales of almost euro 568 million is generated with approximately 5,100 employees. Transmissions for trucks and buses as well as clutches for all applications are produced there.

ZF Sachs Brasil

 

ZF Sachs has been operating in Brazil since 1953 and is one of the largest clutch manufacturers in South America, with plants in São Bernardo do Campo and Araraquara, both in the state of São Paulo. Presently, ZF Sachs Brazil supplies its products to the replacement and export markets and for the main automotive assembly companies, accumulating a large number of awards received from them, in addition to quality certificates issued by unquestionably serious organizations.

ZF Sachs Argentina

 

ZF Sachs Argentina is one of the most important shock absorber manufacturers in South America. Its plant, which is located in San Francisco, province of Cordoba, has a production capacity of 3 million shock absorbers per year. It provides suspension systems and shock absorbers to automobile, utility vehicle and truck manufacturers within the Mercosur, such as Citroen, Fiat, Ford, Iveco, Mercedes Benz, Peugeot, Renault, Scania, Volvo, VW, Ssamg Yong. With a significant participation in the Argentine replacement market, ZF Sachs has been successful in positioning itself as the highest quality product among its competitors.
