Warranty Info and Policies

Transmissions rebuilt by ZF Sales & Service North America, LLC come with a 24 month, unlimited mileage warranty. The shelf life for a ZF unit is 18 months and the warranty begins on the date of installation.

This warranty is limited to replacing the transmission or parts which upon our inspection prove to be defective. This warranty does not include:

• Removal, reinstallation, or any other incidental cost to repair the vehicle
• Abuse, incorrect installation, incorrect application and conversions
• Incorrect, low, or no oil
• Incorrectly installed PTO's
• Cracked bell housings
• Reverse gear clash
• Damaged transmissions due to all clutch component problems
• Vehicles that used over the GVWR
• Aftermarket turbo
• Shelf life of 18 months
• Disassembled units
• Any labor costs

In order to make a claim, prior to return, a RETURN GOODS AUTHORIZATION number must be issued through a ZF authorized distributor. No returns without prior authorizations will be honored. Should ZF deny a warranty claim, due to a no problem found or for any of the above mentioned failures, the distributors account will be debited for the unit. The core credit will then be issued or ZF can send the core back at the customers expense.
