Streamline the process
Everyone has talked about lean manufacturing and how, why and when it should be implemented. Here at ZF Sales and Service we have already addressed the subject through the reconfiguration of our assembly, inspection and production departments at our Vernon Hills facility. This reorganization resulted in our plant running more modular workstations, allowing our people to focus on their specific areas of expertise while managing a more consistent flow of work and information among stations.
Responsible for our environment
Genuine ZF remanufacturing adheres to the ISO 14001 Standards, environmental guidelines that we take very seriously. ZF Sales and Service is extremely sensitive to how wastes are handled during disassembly, parts washing, reject disposal, and all other phases of the ZF remanufacturing process. These guidelines were also followed during the selection and testing of a new washing facility. The Vernon Hills facility was also awarded the Illinois Governors' Pollution Prevention Award.
Efficiencies through technologies
Traditional methods of doing business were not always the most convenient. Parts orders needed to be placed with service representatives over the phone or via fax, and these reps were usually only available during "normal business hours". These conventional methods limited the access to parts, product or service information.
Our OASIS website, launched in 2002, allows our customers with established accounts to place orders online, check product pricing and availability, confirm shipment dates, research transaction history and invoicing, etc. OASIS is housed on a secure server to protect transaction and information privacy. In addition, ZF offers EDI transactions and solutions that willmeet your specific requirements.
