Based at our Nottingham facility, we provide expert and professional technical support for passenger cars, commercial vehicles (freight and passenger carrying), construction and off-road machinery installations.
Technical support is also provided for Defence applications, Rail vehicles, as well as Marine craft and Wind Energy equipment. Our expertise is geared to give the best possible support for ZF transmissions, steering systems, control modules, axles and drive systems. Through continual engagement with ZF development and production sites, support is available throughout the lifetime of the product. Warranty support
Through co-ordinated efforts from our Technical support teams, we ensure that Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM’s), production line and end-user issues are dealt with promptly and efficiently. ZF Services UK is able to call on our significant resource to minimise ‘down-time’ of equipment. Engaging a ‘continuous improvement’ philosophy, engineering and quality issues are fed back to ZF production facilities.
Technical support and advice
Utilising the significant experience of our factory trained technicians, coupled with strong links with ZF production sites, professional advice on the full range of ZF products is only a telephone call away. Our office based team have access to up-to-the-minute technical bulletins, the latest technical drawings, software program updates and production specifications, to enable them to provide a professional help-line service.
Field based diagnostic and repair solutions
Whatever the application, an experienced team of technical experts is available to provide premium quality technical support. Proactive deployment of resident engineers by ZF Services UK at major automotive customer sites in the UK is testament to the value of the technical support we provide. ZF Services UK also have Technicians suitably trained and in procession of CONDO Certification enabling us to deliver world-wide support to defence applications. Expensive Marine transmission removals can also be avoided. Our team is experienced in providing installation advice and diagnostic assistance. Vibration and alignment checks through to ‘in-vessel’ transmission overhauls for our larger product range, lifetime support is available. Equipped with the very latest technical knowledge, dedicated TESTMAN diagnostic equipment and specialised tooling, our priority is to support you.
Customer training on ZF Products and technology
As technology advances, getting the latest product information is critical in ensuring optimum performance and reliability. We are able to provide customer specific, tailored training packages which can be delivered through our Nottingham facility, at customer own premises, or via our ZF production sites
Technical documentation and publications
As well as maintaining a local technical library of Operation & Repair manuals, parts lists, drawings and associated publications covering the full ZF product portfolio, we are continually linked to the ZF Worldwide support network. This allows real-time downloads of additional information and software updates.
Planned preventative maintenance advice and health checks
Proactive preventative maintenance is an important consideration in any technical system or equipment, to optimise performance and reliability. Health checks carried out by our fully trained Field Service personnel utilising their diagnostic equipment and experience, ensure that ZF products continue to realise their maximum efficiency and potential.
