Individual package components
New developments in the MULTISTEER and MULTITRAC axle series improve productivity and handling. OPTISTEER, the innovative steering-system kinematics for vehicles with 4-wheel steering, together with efficiency-optimized service brake systems, cylindrical roller bearings in the epicyclic gear train and open differentials with hydraulically operated locking differential are designed to improve efficiency. These innovations complement the existing EFFICIENCY PACKAGE, which includes the ZF ERGOPOWER 5-speed automatic transmission, ZF ERGOCONTROL electronic control unit, ZF ERGOLOCKUP torque converter lock-up clutch, ERGOTRACTION interwheel differential lock management and ECOTRACTION axle disconnect.
