NMV Engine-Dependent PTO
More than just driving
Commercial vehicles with ZF power take-offs (PTOs) have special capabilities. Especially challenging work steps are possible with the engine-dependent power take-off NMV. It can power devices such as fire fighting or concrete pumps and can be used either for continuous operation during driving or in standstill. The PTO can be engaged under load.

For applications reaching the limit
Ready for application as soon as the engine starts running. Independent of the clutch position. No matter if in fire-fighting vehicles, concrete pumps and mixers, or in flushing and sewage vehicles: The PTO is an independent module with SAE-compatible interface that withstands highest loads and stresses - if necessary also in continuous operation.
The powerful PTO can be mounted to all ZF transmissions as well as to transmissions of other manufacturers with SAE1 interface thanks to its SAE-compatible interface.
The integrated DynaDamp torsional vibration damper that uses the same technology as the established ZF dual-mass flywheel makes it possible to decouple vehicle and driven units in engine-dependent PTO operation efficiently from vibrations. This has an especially positive effect on the noise characteristics in idle position and on the wear of the PTO.
