Human Resources Executive Vice President Thomas Sigi will be leaving ZF Group after serving in an executive role for approximately one year. ZF Group wants to dramatically raise sales and earnings in the current year. ZF began the year with strong sales growth in the first quarter of 2010. Sales figures were up 34 percent company-wide compared to the first three months of the crisis year of 2009. ZF experienced its strongest sales growth in the Asia-Pacific and South America regions, with 67 and 75 percent rises respectively. ZF and Hero Motors Ltd. today signed a contract establishing the joint-venture enterprise ZF Hero Chassis Systems, securing access for ZF to India’s booming market for small cars. The automotive industry supplier is acquiring fifty percent of Hero Chassis Systems including two assembly plants in Halol, around 300 miles north of Mumbai, and in Talegaon, near Pune.
