ZF expands its activities in wind-energy business continuously. In Gainesville, Georgia, a plant for the production of wind turbine gearboxes is currently built. First ZF customer is the world-market leader Vestas. Also the service offer, which comprises maintenance and repair of gearboxes, impresses leading wind-energy plant operators in Europe, North America as well as in China in the future. On the EWEA 2011, ZF presented its product and performance range in hall 7, booth 7211.
