ZF Annual Press Conference 2008
ZF Group sales increased by 8% in 2007 to €12.65 billion. The workforce grew by an average 4% last year to 57,372 employees. Operating profit reaches €917 million. ZF CEO Hans-Georg Haerter explains the reasons for this development at ZF’s 2008 Annual Press Conference.
ZF Year-End Press Conference 2009
After years of growth, ZF reported sales of €9.3 billion during the crisis year of 2009 – a quarter less than the previous year (2008: €12.5 billion). Due to fluctuations and structural adjustments, primarily abroad, by the end of 2009 the number of ZF employees worldwide had declined by nearly 3,400, or roughly 5 percent, to 59,900. In 2010 ZF will continue to stick to its goal of maintaining the core workforce in Germany. "Thanks to a comprehensive restructuring program, we are back on course for growth," says ZF CEO Hans-Georg Härter.
