ZF at the "Klassikwelt Bodensee" Trade Fair

42,000 visitors from Germany, Switzerland, and Austria

42,000 vintage car enthusiasts came this year to get inspired by the second "Klassikwelt Bodensee". ZF presented three main topics at the vintage car trade show. Additional highlights included, among others, a special exhibition of historic boats and a vintage car parts market.

Historical companions

The ZF booth presented its connection with Magirus since 1924, the production of a ZF transmission for the DKW Junior as first large order in 1959, and the 75th anniversary of ZF fully synchronized transmissions. A particular highlight was a dump truck from Magirus of the type which was typically used in the 1970s to build the Baikal Amur mainline - and is still at use today. The historic background was presented to all interested visitors in a digital photo gallery and by means of wall charts. ZF experts made themselves available for visitors, with words and deeds. The picture gallery presents impressions of the well attended ZF booth.

Bildunterschrift

Not only the number of exhibitors has risen compared to last year, also the number of visitors has increased considerably from 38,000 to 42,000. The next "Klassikwelt" trade show will take place on June 3-6, 2010.
