Quality Management
In order to do justice to our customers´ demands, a comprehensive quality management is indispensable. ZF Sachs Race Engineering was audited in December 2000 following DIN EN ISO 9001 and received the sought-after certification. In order to receive this high standard, the processes are continuously reviewed and optimized. This lays the groundwork for our customer specific processes and is proof of the high quality of our products
Environmental Management
We at ZF Sachs Race Engineering are future oriented and have committed ourselves to protect natural resources and deal with the environment in a conscientious manner. For this reason, we qualified in 1996 for DIN 14001 and received the appropriate certification.
Verification
ZF Sachs Race Engineering is now also certified following § 19 StVZO in connection with appendix XIX of the StVZO. This means that SRE can provide its customers with a parts certificate (i.e. for complete suspension systems), which will bring enormous benefits both in terms of time and money:
- No need for entry in vehicle registration papers
- No need for procurement of vehicle registrations with leasing contracts
- Quick processing with technical services or official controlling bodies
Intranet supported data management
Our Intranet supported data management system allows us to access a wide spanning data bank as quickly as possible. Situation-dependent, current data, documents, norms and quality information can be accessed worldwide.
Supplier Management and Qualification
With a continuous exchange of communication thanks to state-of-the-art electronic media, we have managed to expand and improve our already outstanding supplier quality. Based on a fair and friendly customer-supplier relationship, all problems are examined jointly and future oriented solutions found. This is how identified causes are systematically and efficiently worked out and targeted solutions are found.
Delivery Dependability for the customer
Delivery dependability is the most important measuring stick to which we are completely committed. The customer is the focal point of our daily life. In order for us to identify the areas where improvements are necessary, it is our own job to continuously remain in contact with the customer to compare the confirmed delivery dates with the dates delivery actually took place. To accomplish this, the SAP/R3 system supplies all the necessary data, which is then analyzed and evaluated at the monthly management meetings. The outcomes, including improvement strategies, are then worked out within the team.
Employee Qualification
The demands on our engineers and technical personnel for qualifications and know-how are enormous. We are aware of how important it is to have an innovative lead. For this reason, there is already today continuous dialogue between superiors and employees on tomorrow´s qualification requirements. The goal is to be able to absorb the latest technologies, media, scientific and educational research in our daily research and development efforts. Continuing education initiatives are carried out on a regular basis to offer state of the art products in answer to permanently changing market requirements.
Management of Quality Control Tools
Beginning with the development phase, an engineer or technician can check while sketching a component or building a unit if the quality control tool is available or if an order must be placed. This quick Intranet supported task makes it possible for us to shorten development and introduction times of new or modified components significantly.
Customer Satisfaction
The satisfaction of our customers is made up of quality, price, on-time delivery and service. Our highest goal is to fulfill all this by giving it our very best. We are in continuous and close communication with the customers in order to increase their satisfaction. In doing so, we also use questionnaires to find out where our weaknesses and strengths lie in order to improve ourselves with targeted measures.
