ZF Works Its Way
up to The Top
of The Image Scale

In the current image study of the Manager Magazine, the ZF Group reachs rank 10 and is thus one of the most distinguished brands in Germany.

What a success! In the overall ranking of the renowned "2012 Image Profiles" study of the Manager Magazine, ZF managed to work its way up to rank 10 of the 170 most important companies from ten sectors operating in Germany. This includes German as well as international companies, such as Google or Microsoft. Compared to the previous study conducted four years ago, the company won 44 ranks. This result proves that the supplier has an extremely good image also beyond the boarders of its specific sector. In the "industry" category, there is only one company ahead of ZF in the survey: Robert Bosch GmbH. The most important evaluation criteria of the study included customer orientation, innovative strength, financial soundness, management quality, and sustainable operation. More than 4,000 German executives of the first and second management levels participated in the representative survey which was conducted for the 16th time.

"The excellent result of the image study is a huge success for us", says CEO Hans-Georg Härter delighted about that fact. "It supports us in our sector's environment. Because finally it is a proven fact that strong and pleasant brands have competitive advantages – also when it comes to finding new employees."

In the overall ranking of the "Image Profiles" study, the ZF Group is in good company: with Audi (rank 1), BMW (rank 2), Porsche (rank 4), Volkswagen (rank 7), and Daimler (rank 9) five highly esteemed automotive manufacturers are among the top ten. Far behind are ZF competitors such as Continental (rank 75), Magna (rank 82), ThyssenKrupp (rank 94), or Schaeffler (rank 124).
