"Best Brand" 2010 - ZF gets Subscription to First Place
For the fifth time in succession, ZF has been voted best transmission brand in 2010 by the readers of the trade journal 'auto motor und sport'. This means that, since voting for this title first started, ZF Friedrichshafen AG has been able to garner this award for itself. "We are especially pleased that end users acknowledge the quality of our car transmissions in this way. As a business-to-business brand, ZF seldom makes its presence known to car buyers. This is why we are so proud to have received this award yet again", states Dr. Gerhard Wagner, Group Executive of ZF's Car Driveline Technology division.
PACE Award 2010 - The ZF 8-Speed Automatic Transmission convinces
ZF has won a 2010 Automotive News PACE Award for its all-new, fuel-saving, 8-speed automatic transmission. For ZF the honor comes just eight years after winning the same award for developing the world’s first 6-speed automatic transmission being used in 6 Million cars worldwide. The “Automotive News” magazine in Detroit awards innovative automotive suppliers with the PACE award in several categories.
