A students' survey reveals that ZF is even more attractive
as an employer
In the employer ranking by Universum, ZF improves its position from rank 37 to rank 23 and, as the only company from the automotive industry, is thus one of the "Top Movers 2009".
Students from various fields, for example from engineering, sciences, and IT, rated the company ZF more positive as an employer than in 2008. In the latest employer ranking published by the consultancy company Universum Communications, one of the most important student surveys in the German-speaking area, ZF managed to leap from rank 37 in the previous year to rank 23 out of altogether 100 companies. The best students appreciate ZF as an employer even more – this is where the company is even ranked 20th. Thus, ZF is among the "Top Movers 2009". In the IT sector, ZF was a newcomer and instantly managed to achieve the 72nd position; therefore, it is one of the "Top Entries". In the 'sciences' field, the company went up from place 119 to 102.
"For ZF, it is a strategic success factor to establish itself as a strong employer brand", says Ralf Heller, Manager of Corporate HR Development at ZF Friedrichshafen AG. After all, this is the only way to get the best people on board, i.e. those who are vital to secure the technological leadership in the future.
