Worldwide career opportunities

As a global leader in the automotive supply industry, ZF has operations in 27 countries around the world. The ZF Group employs approximately 61,000 people, including 24,000 outside Germany. The international cooperation of our skilled professionals and managers generates multicultural synergies and opens up a wealth of personal development and career opportunities for ZF employees worldwide.

Global competitiveness

Around 69 % of ZF sales revenues are generated in Europe, the company's most important market. To meet the growing challenges of globalization and exploit the growth potential in markets outside our core area of Europe, we have over recent years engaged in a strategy of strengthening our position in areas such as the rapidly growing economies of Brazil, Russia, India and China, while maintaining a strong base in Europe. International deployments of our employees play a key role in this successful expansion und organization of our global business.

International challenges

A growing number of ZF employees are taking advantage of opportunities to expand their personal horizons by relocating to a different department, a foreign country or a different continent. The ZF Group's ITP (International Transfer Policy) defines universally applicable standards, creates transparency for staff and facilitates smooth, problem-free employee transfers. Individualized training programs prepare ZF personnel for international challenges.

Worldwide commitment

Corporate responsibility is a guiding principle for ZF in all aspects, including social responsibility. Funded by donations from the company and its employees, the non-profit "ZF Helps" organization regularly supports relief projects around the world. The organization was initially set up in April 2005 in response to the Tsunami disaster to provide professional administration of donations from ZF employees. Since then, funds raised by ZF Helps have been used to aid victims of natural disasters, epidemics and famine, as well as to support school and education projects in developing countries.
