Advanced training and staff development at ZF

Innovative strength is essential to the success of the ZF Group. With targeted staff development programs, the company challenges each individual employee to contribute their maximum innovation potential. Modern learning opportunities and advanced training approaches play an important role along with the development of management staff from within ZF ranks.

Promoting your career

ZF implements the proFILE manager development and planning system to fill management positions on different corporate levels with ZF employees. The proFILE system defines a framework for identification and development planning and ensures a uniform, group-wide procedure.

Company further education

ZF places high priority on the development of perfectly tailored advanced training programs. The company’s operational training and education policy focuses on developing professional, methodological and social skills. For example, the group-wide international SPRINT (Specialist Professional International) programs offer specialists an opportunity to dialog with management and continue their education in IT, cost accounting, quality control and other fields.

E-learning and blended learning

The Learning in the Network (LiN) advanced training initiative supports learning with new media. The ZF virtual academy for advanced training and education offers employees a chance to compile personalized training content and repeat lessons as often as necessary. Introduced in 2003, the ZF-on-LiNe-Trainer bus has been used by more than 3,200 employees.
